The Department of Medical Education and Biomedical Informatics
(MEBI) organizes Faculty Development Workshops annually. The workshops
are available to all Medical School faculty members with appointments
at the University of Washington. These workshops are provided by
UW faculty, both within and outside MEBI, and include at least one
presentation by a nationally recognized faculty member from another
institution. Sessions are half-day and are typically interactive,
experiential, with hands-on activities. Workshops focus on basic
teaching, learning, and evaluation skills, as well as special topics.
The workshops are directed by Donna Ambrozy, PhD.
